Paul is a Graduate of Trinity College Dublin, and
qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 becoming a Partner in the practice
in 1984. He is the great-grandson of the founder of the firm. Upon
qualification he was awarded the Law Society’s Silver Medal.
Paul practices principally in the areas of Probate,
Conveyancing, including Landlord and Tenant Law, and Personal Injury
Litigation. He is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate
Practitioners and is a former member of the Taxation Committee of
the Law Society. He has tutored and lectured in the areas of
administration of estates and tax planning. As a Probate Lawyer he
has extensive experience in the drafting of Wills, the
Administration of Estates, Tax Planning issues and litigation
arising from the administration of estates, including construction
summons and litigation arising from succession issues.
As a Conveyancer, Paul handles both domestic and
commercial property transactions. He has developed a particular
interest in the area of Landlord and Tenant Law including the
drafting of commercial leases.
In the area of litigation Paul has a particular
interest in the area of medical and professional negligence, but has
also practiced extensively in the areas of personal injuries
litigation generally.
